- Björn Bernt was born at the first of April in 1980 in Erlangen, Germany. After doing practical studies at movie- and theaterproductions and a carpenter Björn Bernt was studying Industrial Design at the University of Fine Arts, Berlin since the year 2002, and since 2005 also at the College of Fine Arts, Berlin-Weissensee. He took part in the exhibitions „Senior_Lifstyle“ at the Tendenz 2004, „designmai_youngsters-berlin“, „designmai_youngsters-brussels“ 2005 and „Future_made_in_Solingen“ 2006. From September 2006 till August of 2007 he undertook an internship at SowdenDesign in Milan. In April 2008 he made his practical diploma. At the exhibition "Schöner Wohnen" was shown his newest ceramic pieces in the same year. In 2009 he was exhibitting at "DMY - The Sky is not the Limit". Since October 2009 he is undertaking his "Meisterschüler"-year at College of Fine Arts, Berlin-Weissensee. In the year 2010 already two exhibitions promoting works of him and his colaborateurs at "deutsche guggenheim berlin" and at "galerie europa"have taken place. In his sparetime Björn is drawing & collecting comics...
